These lovely cotton gauze kitchen towels are wonderful to use. Soft and absorbent crinkle gauze dries fast and washes well. The waffle like crinkle texture adds some interest and fashion to your everyday utility towels. Cotton is a naturally absorbent fiber which makes it wonderful for a towel. Grows softer and more absorbent with each wash.

:::SIZE::: This is a SMALL rectangle. Towels are roughly 16X24 although dimensions will vary due to the crinkle nature of this textured fabric. This type of gauze is specifically made to get that fluffy crinkle texture after washing (psssst...Pro tip: texture hides stains!) Each towel is made the same size, BUT after washing you may find that some crinkle up more than others. This is normal. Exact size after washing can not be guaranteed. Measurements taken on a washed and dried towel.

:::STYLE::: Our same best selling thick gauze towels but with a fancy scalloped detail at each end. This style has a quilting stitch along the middle of the towel to help the layers stay together. Stitching is in a matching shade of thread and is hardly noticeable.

:::USE::: These are a great size to be used as a kitchen towel, hand towel, or tea towel. Fold in a cute bowl and use in place of paper towel. Great for use while cooking and baking. Sling one over your shoulder for a little fashion and function while cooking. (treat oil stains immediately with dish soap as cotton is very absorbent and can get oil marks.) Don't dry items that could snag the fibers of the towel. Gauze can snag if used on rough or sharp surfaces.

:::FABRIC:::: each towel is hand crafted out of 2 layers of double layered 100% cotton gauze, so 4 ply total. These will wash and use well for a long,....LONG time! (One single layer of gauze fabric is THIN almost transparent, and a loose weave)

:::COLOR::: Multiple colors available, see drop down menu for variations. Towels can be reversible with 2 colors, or all one solid color. See ordering instructions in the photos if you would like to order a custom color combination. Colors can vary slightly between fabric batches. Color may look VERY different in person as monitors and phone screens can display colors differently. The towel in the photos is a "Light Gray/Cream" custom color combination.

:::CARE::: Best washed in cool water with mild detergent. Preferably washed alone, or with NON-linty fabrics as cotton is prone to attracting pills if not washed properly. Tumble dry on LOW heat. Do NOT over dry as it may cause fabric to become less soft. They get better the more you wash them!

Are handmade goods really worth it?

Everything comes directly from our shop in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is made by me, (Carly) or a Charley Charles team member. Growing into a huge company has never been my goal.
